MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

These mint chocolate-chip cookies are one of my family’s favorite! They are delicious and simple to make! The green color comes from food coloring which can be omitted if desired. Enjoy!



INGREDIENTS
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup light brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1 and ½ - 2 teaspoons peppermint extract, not mint
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • Green food dye, optional
  • 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 and ½ cup white flour
  • ¾ cup milk or dark chocolate chips
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup Andes baking chips (creme de menthe)

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a huge ball withdraw together the butter and both sugars until sunstruck and fluffy. Defeat in the egg and eucalypt withdraw. Add food colouring if wanted.
  3. Add in the potable pulverization, baking salt, and briny. Mix.
  4. Add in the flour and stir until righteous one.
  5. Affect in both chips.
